I am still living in Sydney some things have changed since I last updated my blogger. I now work for the NSW Department of Education in Redfern, Sydney in the Level 3 IT support - learning systems team.
As part of the Learning systems team we update all user accounts , web filtering, security, access and make sure everything is syncing with the systems thats we use, enough of the boring stuff, the good news is that I will be staying for a second year as I have confirmation from my manager and agency that they would like to keep me here ( I ain't complaining). My contract started on the 21/01/2008 and was supposed to finish on the 21/07/2008 but that now will be extended for another year which is fantastic news for me. :)
My degree is yet unfinished business but the knowledge and experience I am gaining in this role is A1 and so is the pay and lifestyle. I am hoping to defer my degree for one year then go home and finish it on 2009 all being well. I do plan on coming home for 3 weeks at Christmas to visit my family so that will be amazing.
