Irish in New York

John Duddy aims to continue his winning ways on March 16th 2007 in Madison square gardens. The Derry man had to pull out of an early fight which was scheduled for January 11th due to eye damage that was sustained during the fight Yori Boy Campas in Sept 2006 which was easily one of the most exciting fights of last year, it could only be described as a toe to toe classic that showed the true grit that Duddy possesses. Certainly Duddy may not have choosen to box Campas the way other more experienced fighters have in the past, but he did go in the trences with Campas the whole 12 rounds and won the fight I believe clearly. So far Duddy has done everthing right, yet his critics will say he hasn't proved himself world class yet!! Duddy im sure will make a few heads turn this year, I have no doubt so roll on March 16th and remember if you want to have a fantastic night out in New York, this is your opportunity to capture the atmosphere that Duddy and Irish ropes have brought to the City since his arrival from the "sweet town of Derry".
